This past Saturday was Chicken Curry time again. Flavorful and Mild is the name of the game due to the wife not enjoying the burn.
All my recipes are kept simple with not too many ingredients. We like to taste the different flavors without too many spices. Fresh Garlic is an ingredient that adds flavor to many dishes, I just don’t enjoy the taste any longer for some reason. Rather use spices containing garlic.

The crime situation in our lovely country is now completely out of control. Just where you turn there are stories of break ins, Hijackings, shootings and murder.
The authorities claim its under control and not as bad as it seems, but who they trying to kid. I have been staying in the same area in Benoni in excess of 50 years and have seen the area degrade and crime take over.
Just this morning, in a crime info group run by Top Security there was a report of an armed robbery in Farrarmere. The resident was apparently shot in the process. Maybe, just maybe there will be some mention of this in the local newspaper.

SnoPow M9 LTE Android UHF Walkie Talkie Rugged Smartphone with 16GB, 2GB RAM
I had the opportunity to use one of the Snopow M9 LTE Smartphones for a few days. Unfortunately I had to give it back 🙁
The unit is truly rugged with a sturdy feel to it and a promised tough display. The sound quality is excellent and I really enjoyed the 13MP Camera.

Stress – the silent killer, is something I experienced in my own life a few years ago. We were going through a really tough time financially and it was taking its toll. My wife and I were walking around in the Lakeside Mall when the strangest feeling came over me.
Stress – First Panic Attack
I started sweating profusely, my heart rate sped up and I felt like a trapped animal in the mall and honestly thought I was going to go crazy. Luckily it went away when I stepped outside to get some air. I do understand that it was a panic attack that I experienced caused by the stress.

In a previous post I spoke about using Natures Best Moringa to ease gout. This was suggested by an old colleague from my South African Air Force Days.
I started using the Moringa Capsules in June, just after my birthday. Obviously I ate all the wrong foods which sent the Uric Acid levels in my body sky high. It took about two weeks for the gout to ease and eventually disappear. I also mentioned that the pain in my shoulders that had been around for years had diminished and eventually – gone.

Today I received a small Direct Thermal printer that was badly in need of a good service. These printers work hard, almost continuously churning out printed labels.

What is Gout?
It seems gout is a type of arthritis caused by high uric acid in your body which causes crystals to form in the joints. The joints become red, inflamed and painful. I do believe that only a person that has suffered a gout attack will know how painful it is.

We decided to cook up some Oxtail for lunch on Sunday. This is only my wife and my second attempt, so we decided to keep it simple. The final result was delicious.
We prepared the Oxtail for 7 adults and there was still a little left over. We bought 4 packets of Oxtail at our local Pick n Pay Supermarket, these were about 1KG each, total of 4KG’s.
